Home Lust: Jaime King in InStyle Magazine

I don't remember when actress Jaime King first embedded herself into my consciousness, but I do know she's been there for a while. And now that I've seen these snaps of her home from InStyle Magazine, she's not going anywhere fast! Such an unusual mix of colors and styles, textures, patterns, and materials. At first I wasn't even sure if I liked it, but after chewing on it for a while, I think I'm in love.

The dining space in particular has stolen my heart—such an unexpected contrast with the rest of the house. Check out the subtle tie-ins with the other areas: woven cane-bottom chairs here and in the bedroom, a flash of pink in the pendant lamp reminds us of blush tones elsewhere, and clean furniture lines rule throughout. I dunno, something is just speaking to me! Whadya think?

  1. I have had a massive girl crush on Jamie for years. This only solidifies it. Why did I think she would have a crazier home than this? Her personality kind of lends to a more vibrant space than the natural and classic home she actually has. Either way, her style is perfection.

  5. i love that the grass comes right up to the glass at the dining room and the [amazingly clean] patio effect it lends to it. i also love the print of the child walking the star-wars-dark-side-mobile behind her. (um, it’s called an AT-AT.) it makes me like her even more.
