Outfit to Room: Tory Burch Resort 2013

Come my pets. We're going en voyage, and we're only packing pieces from the Tory Burch Resort '13 collection. The look is 'Jackie O. goes to Bali, and who wouldn't want to channel that vacation vibe? First we'll hit the town, stroll stone-paved streets and pick up charming souvenirs from market stalls. Our long, willowy legs don't look the least bit stumpy in these Bermuda shorts, naturally.

Back to the beach house. Slip into a cozy hoodie, then we'll lunch on juicy, dripping mangos, crisp, cold grapes, fresh summer rolls, and tall glasses of sparkling water. A nap in a hammock with a book on our lap sounds like the ideal digestive aid, or perhaps a game of cribbage or gin rummy will strike your fancy? Just watch out for me–I'm the consummate cheat!

Grab your suit and head to the shore! Be sure to pack a good SPF in your tote bag, I don't want anyone burning on my watch. There will be a sandcastle building contest beginning promptly at 3 pm (I have plans for three turrets, a moat, and a drawbridge!) but don't worry, we also have some downtime scheduled between lap swimming and seashell collecting. It's all on my checklist.

At last, we'll return home, slip into our silky capri pants and loungey blouse, and hit the sofa for a night of movies; it's been a long day, after all! I'm thinking classic comedies like 'Bringing Up Baby' and 'Some Like It Hot'. We'll laugh 'til our bellies ache while the cool sea breeze blows in from the palms and over the balcony, then we'll do it all again tomorrow. Meet you there, mmkay?
