Interiors Inspiration: Going Green

Last week I got worked up about the splash hunter green is making in the fall fashion scene. Today I had another color trend post waiting in the wings, when I realized I'm just not prepared to leave green by the wayside. Because as much as I love it hanging in my closet, I'm also a huge fan of the presence it's having in interiors lately too!

So behold: Three examples of moody fall greens in entirely different applications. The first, a traditional weekend home on the Hudson River. Exactly where we might expect to see pine and moss on walls, rugs, and upholstery. But then we're transported to a lounge in London, with sumptuous velvet draperies and bamboo seating–and green feels just as natural here too.

Finally, a clean and serene bathroom setting overlooking the Australian seaside. This green is utterly modern, graphic and organic, with tiles and stone inlays that look to have been eroded by waves before installed around this tub. I mean really, is there anything green can't do? (Okay, it couldn't get up at 5 am and make my coffee, but I barely could either, for that matter!)
