My mother has been killing it in the parenting department lately. Don't get me wrong, she's always rocked it pretty hard. But these past few months she's been stepping up her mom game more than ever. When she's not calling on the phone, she's checking in on me with encouraging text messages or posting the occasional cat photo to my Facebook wall. Her constant love and support means the world to me right now.
This year on Mother's Day we'll be celebrating together in Europe! In the meantime, I'm brainstorming a gift that reflects my mom's elegant ways. She has a fondness for quiet, understated luxury. Soft linens, hand-tooled jewlery and leather, a subtle scent…let's just say there's no question where I get my taste for the finer things in life.
