Moody Romantic Interiors Inspiration + A Podcast Interview

It’s been a full and productive first week back! How is it that the week after a holiday long weekend always feels so much longer, even though it only lasts four days? I’ve popped up in a few places around the web this week so in lieu of today’s regular post I’d be thrilled if you checked out some work I’ve done elsewhere! First up, the ladies at 100 Layer Cake have started a new ‘wedding to interiors’ series in which they’re translating wedding decor into home inspiration—and they asked me to lend my expertise! I loved putting together this moody romantic interiors look and shopping board for them. Secondly, I sat down with the gals at Little Yellow Couch for a podcast interview that just went live. Pop by to hear my thoughts on the emotional impact of our homes! And last but not least, my humble little bungalow home is featured on Design*Sponge! Head on over to learn how I make the most of 600 square feet! Phew, I’ve been busier than I thought!

  1. Hi Anne. You have made your bungalow into a lovely space. I did a similar thing with my bed – using a piece or art on the wall where a headboard might be. One problem – the bed slides away from the wall when sitting up in bed to read. Any suggestions for keeping the bed in place, as those rubber furniture things under the legs are not doing the trick. Thanks. Susan
