Getting Ready for Holiday Baking with Farmhouse Pottery

It’s November 1st, which means the countdown to the holidays is officially ON! Is it too soon to start listening to my Christmas station on Pandora? Too soon to get the ornaments out of storage? Maybe a little too soon, yeah. But it’s definitely not too early to start daydreaming about all the delicious cooking and baking that awaits us—and to make sure that our kitchens are up to the task of churning out cookies and candies and pies for the next two months! Speaking for myself, my pans, bowls and spoons see a lot of action during the year. Some have seen better days, and others met their fate in smithereens on the floor or in the garbage disposal. Right before the holidays is the perfect time to do a quick cupboard refresh so your baking game is strong heading into sweet treats season!

Enter Farmhouse Pottery. I stumbled on their Instagram account recently and subsequently spent way too long swooning over their gorgeous ceramic bowls, hand carved wood spoons, stoneware baking dishes, rolling pins and more. It’s the stuff Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner dreams are made of, going so easily as they do from countertop to tabletop and back again. Oh, and sure to admire their collection of linen aprons too, because a chef should look as stylish as her tools do!
