One of the funny byproducts of getting older is that the meaning of the holiday season has changed for me. When I was a kid I’d spend months planning my requests from Santa, but now I couldn’t tell you a single material object I’d like to find under the Christmas tree. Rather, I’m so grateful for the gift of some impending downtime after what’s been an incredibly busy, fruitful year—and excited for all that’s to come in 2017!
