At long last, all the major decisions for the living room decor in my new house have been made. The trigger has been pulled on some exciting custom pieces (!) and the really fun part of picking out small decor accents is upon us! I’m on the hunt for a modern table lamp that packs big personality. No boring lighting for this girl! In a space that will be as sparsely decorated as this one, every piece needs to speak volumes.
Fortunately there’s no shortage of table lamps with strong, interesting silhouettes out there! From glass globes and stone pillars to black resin and copper tubes, unusual materials combine with unexpected shapes to catch the eye as well as light up the room. They’re like functional sculptures, works of art in and of themselves, and judging by how easy it was to round up a handful of faves, it looks like I have some serious decision making to do!
