Last Friday I got a sneak peek at a new home decor launch from Target, and while I know it’s totally a cliche to say it, I can’t resist: Target does it again! The latest release is an in-house brand called Opalhouse, and it’s pretty darn special. Target’s design team drew upon inspiration from around the globe, traveling to Portugal, India, Morocco and beyond to create a collection that brings a little (or a lot!) of global flair to any space.
The product lineup is huge, everything from wall decor like rattan mirrors and removable wallpaper to add personality to any space, pretty glassware and serving pieces for spring entertaining, and wood and brass boxes that are so nice to have on hand when styling vignettes. So much catches my eye as I scroll through the seemingly endless pages of well-designed yet affordable finds, but the ones that definitely take the cake are the cane furnishings—a console table, bookshelf, headboard, and more with the prettiest woven detailing. I’d have killed to have access to those cane pieces earlier this year when I was completing my living room design, but I guess I’ll just have to find another project to use them in. Oh darn, right?! 🙂
