Natural Skin Care: Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics

Simple feminine bathroom

I've been simplifying a lot lately. Cleaning out my closetsCleaning up my diet. And as I've become increasingly conscious about what I'm putting into my body, I've started thinking more about what goes onto it too. After all, the skin is our largest organ. While I certainly don't want to sacrifice efficacy now that I'm on the other side of 30, I also want to treat skincare like an extension of my healthy diet.

But I have that pesky skin type that's both flaky and breakout prone, so I'm hesitant to try new products. I've known about One Love Organics since they first launched, yet it wasn't 'til my dear friend Elizabeth Dehn of the Beauty Bets released a collaboration with them that I decided it was time to give the brand a whirl. Whoa, mama. Between the Vitamin E Eye Balm and the Vitamin C Active Moisture Serum, there are no sacrifices here. The balm is rich but not greasy; it de-puffs and pampers in an instant. The serum soaks right in for a radiant glow—no pizza face!

The packaging is also worth a mention, 'cause I'm a sucker for that stuff. I've been using these goodies for almost two weeks, but I don't have the heart to toss the boxes! Crisp black and white stripes adorn the outside while a surprise awaits you on the inside (I won't ruin it though). I'm definitely going to dip my toes into the rest of One Love's natural skin care. Keeping it simple feels so good!

  1. this dooooess look cute! #insightful
but in all seriousness, little brown apothecary jars are irresistible. And kudos for the vintage photos/rose 🙂 And also, (almost done) where is that handsoap dispenser from?

  2. I am always looking for beauty products that are natural, and organic and actually work. Can’t wait to try these out! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  3. I have the same question than Sean, Wherre is that handsoap dispenser from??
And I really love the pictures in the bathroom, original! 🙂

  4. Try using apricot oil or almond oil as a make up remover for natural skin care. It will not clog your pores and is an effective and cost efficient product. It also acts as a moisturizer. It is not a harsh chemical and works just as well as any over-the-counter make up remover.

  5. I have started using more vitamin E in my diet. I trust natural skin care always even if it works slower than chemicals. I love the picture with the VW in front of the home. SOOO CUTE

  6. I make all my own serums, moisturizers and masks and my skin has never been better. I like knowing nothing chemical is being absorbed into my body through my skin and it’s low cost!
