Happy Friday! The holiday season is officially upon us and I couldn’t be more excited! Yesterday we did a major push with our move-in and we’re right on track to be set up in the new house by the end of the month—which means we’ll have plenty of bright, shiny, clean halls to deck come December! I’m always on the lookout for minimalist, simple holiday decor ideas, and these lovely wintry accent ideas from Park & Oak has caught my eye for its elegance and foolproof ease!
If you’re not following Park & Oak on Instagram, get on it post haste because the Illinois-based interior design firm is always cooking up tons of original visual inspiration that’s refreshing and totally doable. Case in point with their holiday decorating ideas: Greenery such as magnolia leaves and rosemary trees make for fragrant and unexpected alternatives to traditional pine. A cluster identical utilitarian items—in this case streamlined brass lanterns—straddles the line between minimalist and abundant. And a quick art swap (that cheeky reindeer where a non-holiday print usually goes!) maintains an air of design sophistication but also adds a little fun to the mix too! Head to the whole story for more images as well as the resources Park & Oak used to get this look, and have a fab weekend getting into the jingle bell spirit!
