It's heeeere! It feels like we barely pushed the last one out the door, and already another issue of Rue Magazine has arrived. (Actually, if it seems like a shorter length of time, that's because it is; we're now publishing every six weeks instead of every eight!) I'm beyond thrilled with this latest offering. We tried our hardest on so many levels, and I think we really nailed it.
One of the things that's important to us is showcasing fabulous interiors from all over the country–so we scouted homes not just in the usual urban centers (hello, NYC!) but also in Chicago, Charlotte and Seattle. We've got a DC shopping tour and a beautiful workspace in Minneapolis. Plus we couldn't resist toying with our focus on small spaces and doing a dollhouse photo shoot for the cover!
Then there's the fashion piece, about which I'm especially excited. San Francisco-based photographer Chelsea Millunchick and stylist Lisa Moir put it together, with a behind-the-scenes video by Kara Brodgesell. This is my kind of winter wardrobe: textured, luxe, sultry, a bit deconstructed but still refined. It's the sartorial equivalent of cozy interior design. Now what are you waiting for? Go dive in!
The new issue looks really good, Anne!
This blog is a good one! Its original, thanks for the info! Is there a way I can tell my people about this post.

These are great photos that include amazing decorating ideas! Thanks so much for sharing these designs!
Great to see the navigation arrows repositioned.
Just one other thought – photography focusing on old flea market portraits (passe I would have thought) or soft focus close-ups of cushions really have very little to portray about the interior of a home. Maybe time to be revolutionary and show a few more whole room shots. I’m over stylised vignettes!
Cheers and best wishes.
Thank you for sharing select photos and descriptions from your magazine. Some may enjoy your insight into interior design all over the country.
absolutely LOVE this issue – best one yet! as a lover of all things miniature, the dollhouse shoot was almost too much to handle. I keep going back to look at that and Brian Paquette’s home – seriously awesome! So pumped yall are releasing issues more often. Can’t wait to see what you guys cook up next!
Inspiring post! Thanks for sharing.
I love this photo so urban jungle!

Ladies watches such as DKNY watches are usually more delicately proportioned than men’s watches are.
