I know what you're thinking. I was thinking it too. 'Salma Hayek? Lotions and potions? At CVS?' I'm a total snob when it comes to getting my beauty fix at the drugstore, and even more so when there's a celeb name on the bottle. But in a recent 'Oh no I'm traveling and need shampoo that doesn't smell like butt' crisis, I gave Salma's products a whirl. And hold the phone, folks. Salma Hayek Nuance is for real.
My first line of defense is scent (ie. no butt smells). The Nuance goods aren't cloying. Scented like an afternoon in luxe sheets or a stroll through a dewy garden, you'll be happy to get a whiff of 'em on your skin and hair throughout the day. Then I read Lucky's article about Salma's formulations–they use her grandmother's recipes, and they really deliver the volume, softness, and shine they promise. I'm sold!

I’ve been using the daytime moisturizer with SPF 30 & the am/pm night cream which are both absolutely amazing & better than their expensive counterparts! I highly recommend Salma’s line 🙂

OMG! I am so glad you wrote something about this! I bought many of her products cuz I was excited to learn her products were paraben free and natural but then would I be excited about how they worked? I am happy to say I love her products! My coworkers and my husband have noticed my skin looks brighter. I feel the products are working, but time will tell. Also, her makeup is great! Love her soft moisturizing lipstick! Please support this line cuz I don’t want it to go away!
I bought Salma Hayek Nuance eye shadow at CVS and love it love it-it is absolutely the best I have ever used and I have used very expensive shadows in the past
