I'm so thrilled about today's giveaway, and also a little jealous of the SF Bay Area residents who get to enter! Have you heard of Canoe? Based in Austin, it's a leather goods studio that creates gorgeous accessories that combine modern explorations in pattern with the age-old appeal of the handmade. Natalie Davis, the talented artistan behind Canoe, is heading to General Store in San Francisco to teach a leather tooling workshop, and she's very generously offering two readers a spot in the class!
The class will focus on the basics of leather working; all materials will be provided and participants will tool and dye a personalized leather key chain. To enter, follow Canoe on Instagram and let me know in the comments. For extra entries you can like Canoe on Facebook or follow on Twitterβjust be sure to leave a comment for each follow you do! We'll randomly select two winners and let them know on Thursday that they've won. Good luck and happy Monday!
Here's more info on the leather tooling workshop. The class is $75 and there are a few spots left. Heck, don't risk it. I'd just sign up if I were you! Images: 1. 2. 3.
I wish I were in the area and could enter! Looks like such an amazing class.

Awesome, I wish I was in SF still – bummer, hope they make it down to LA! π
I love to browse the General Store with a drink from Trouble Coffee next door. That little stretch of the Outer Sunset is so relaxing. Would love to participate in this workshop–I’ve followed Canoe on Instagram (I’m vivsnacks).
Thanks,
