What are your first makeup memories? Mine include clownish applications of grandma's coral lipstick when I was five; a rather unfortunate affinity for glitter shadow when I was twelve; and hours spent pouring over Bobbi Brown's first book when I was sixteen. Indeed, Bobbi's products were my first real makeup, and I'm slightly embarrassed to say that I may have some of those original eyeshadows floating around at the bottom of my cosmetics bag.
I'm also ashamed to admit that since those early experiments, my makeup routine hasn't evolved much: concealer for blotchiness, tinted balm for color. So I'm thrilled that Bobbi Brown has launched the YouTube channel I Love Makeup. The videos are not only inspiring and informative, they're downright hilarious. Which resonates deeply with me. Because—from a kindergartner playing in grandma's bathroom to grown women testing waterproof mascara with squirt guns—having fun is the best beauty aid of all!
