The countdown is officially upon us. Christmas is less than two weeks away! It seems like every year, no matter how far in advance I plan, I still find myself scrambling for last-minute gifts. From a thank-you gesture to the neighbor who shoveled the walk to a little something for the friend I wasn't expecting to see 'til the new year, it's pretty much inevitable that I'll come up empty-handed at some point during the holiday season.
But this year might be different, thanks to a challenge posed to me by T.J. Maxx, Home Goods, and Marshall's. My assignment was to shop at all three stores for the perfect collection of last-minute gifts. I stocked up on small treasures with a rustic, homemade feel—the sort of things that will appeal to any age, gender, and style persuasion. And because gorgeous wrapping makes any good gift better, I also snagged checkered kraft paper and velvet ribbon that fit the vintage Americana vibe.
From woodsy candles to artful stationery, these are the sorts of things you could give as a set or as one-offs with a bottle of wine and a sweet note. And speaking of sweet, I'm excited to offer two readers their own last-minute spree with one of two $150 gift cards redeemable at any T.J. Maxx, Home Goods, or Marshall's.
