Global Throw Pillows from House of Cindy

In January I set a 2014 goal to do more flea market shopping, and I’m happy to say I’ve been keeping this resolution! Last Sunday I took a trip to the Rose Bowl and discovered House of Cindy, an interiors label that focuses on global and reclaimed accent pieces. When I spotted Cindy’s booth, it was love at first site. Picture pillows in every color and size stacked ten feet high, all of them begging to follow you home and make themselves comfortable in your living room!

Global throw pillows

Pre-loved textiles from around the world come together to make these cushions. Channel a southwest vibe with a vintage serape, add a dash of spice with Indian blockprint, or inject subtle color and pattern with handwoven Hmong cloth. I can attest to their softness. After all, I sure spent long enough stroking the weathered, timeworn cottons—and resisting the urge to grab an armful and run!

  1. Thanks a million for sharing. This post comes to me as a treat. Am a total pillow-love person and I see so much Asian inspired vibes in them. Warmth and texture…they can make a space alive.
