I don't know about you, but historically the guys in my life have been much harder to shop for than the girls. With women, it seems like you can always fall back on feel-good basics like a sumptuous sweater, soft socks, or a soothing hand cream. Because ladies aren't shy about our love of pampering and indulgence—especially during the chilly months.
But then I noticed something about my dad. He has this one pair of favorite sweatpants that he sports on winter mornings while he drinks his coffee. They're tattered and torn after years of wear but he refuses to reliquish them. And he loves nothing more than to linger in bed on weekends, reading and snoozing under the covers. Then there's my grandpa. Every year he asks for slippers for Christmas, and I'm beginning to think it's not because he's short on ideas. Maybe he just really really loves slippers.
So my theory is this. Guys like to burrow and hibernate just as much as girls, they're simply less vocal about it. Maybe some of them even need a little encouragement to tap their inner polar bear. What better way to do that with a pair of stylish sweatpants, a mug and a box of tea, or a big blanket scarf? And if you pick those items up at Accompany, a shop stocked entirely with Fair Trade artisan made goods, your guy can explore his latent hibernista tendencies while giving back to the community. Looking good, feeling good, doing good—isn't that what the holiday season is all about?

Love the gift ideas. Thanks for making the holiday shopping for my husband just that little bit easier. Scarves and bracelets are going to be the ticket this year I think.
Thanks for sharing!
