Do you know about Lou & Grey? The relatively new label, which is a sub-brand of Ann Taylor, is pretty much the best thing that's happened to comfy dressing since pajamas. A Lou & Grey store opened near me in Pasadena last year, and it's become an essential stop on my weekend window shopping rotation. I've made it my habit to stop in, see what's new, and wallow in the racks upon racks of kitten-soft cottons and silks. (It's a little awkward for the other patrons, yet I can't resist!)
The Lou & Grey philosophy puts the focus on neutral hues, timeless patterns, and wearable shapes—all rendered unique by a mix of textures galore! You'll find floaty linens mingling with crisp poplins, lightweight chambrays paired with open-weave knits. Plus every imaginable iteration of stripes is present and accounted for! I'm especially loving the matte-meets-sheer vibe of this white sweater.
I recently teamed up with the Lou & Grey team to share a few of my favorite looks on Instagram, but I had some extra images that were too fun not to post here as well! The summer collection really is so spot on, and fortunately it's all available online so you needn't live near one of the brick-and-mortar locations to get your comfy on. But do keep your eyes peeled for more Lou & Grey stores opening soon—at least so I'm not the only one embarrassing herself amongst the merchandise!
