For the most part, I hate paper. If I can scan it and shred it, I will. But one type of paper that I save indefinitely is anything with sentimental value. Postcards from my dad, Valentines from my sweetie, even old Polaroids from photo shoots I’ve styled are crammed into shoeboxes and envelopes around my house. And when I’m feeling down, a sort through my mementoes lifts me up. There’s a nothing quite like a trip down gratitude lane to boost the spirits!
As much as I like hoarding my own mementoes, I enjoy creating them for others more! Birthdays and holidays find me choosing cards and composing the messages therein with the utmost care. Because ‘I love you’ are three words that never grow old; and for the special people in our lives, a thoughtful physical reminder of how much we care is a precious gift indeed. So I was truly thrilled when the founders of Modern Lore reached out and asked if they could feature my photos in their charming line of cards and gift enclosures!
After all, it’s one thing to send and receive my own ephemera, but it’s a whole other to be a part of yours! Each Modern Lore card comes with a chic kraft paper envelope that whispers of something good inside; and each is made from heavyweight, textured paper that will hold up to countless nostalgic musings over the years. For now you can shop the cards with my photography here, and keep yours eyes peeled at this winter Anthropologie for holiday cards highlighting my images. Happy snail mailing!
