See My Home Tour on Rue Magazine!

In the seven years that I’ve been blogging, I’ve never actually gotten my act together and submitted my space for a home tour feature. I guess I’ve just been saving it for something really important, because last week in support of my new book Sage Living, my house was featured over at my old stomping grounds: Rue Magazine! It was so fun to have an excuse finally to put the finishing touches on my decor. And of course nothing lights a proverbial fire under the ass like a deadline!

I’ve shared a few favorite outtakes here, but there’s tons more eye candy over at Rue—not to mention some thoughts on the book, shopping links for my decor resources, and the ‘meet cute’ story of how this house has been part of my life story for longer than just the year I’ve lived in it! On a personal note, it was a lovely full-circle experience to have Rue publish my house. The book’s launch marks the culmination of everything I’ve been working towards since leaving the magazine in 2012, and I couldn’t think of a better way to mark that than to join hands with my co-founder Crystal in a statement of continued mutual love and support!
