But I couldn’t let this day end without waxing poetic for the new Zady Essentials Collection, which just released today. The ultimate antidote to throwaway style, Zady has answered our call for sustainable basics that are at once on-trend and utterly timeless. I mean, feast your eyes on this thick chunky sweater!!
When I say sustainable, I really mean sustainable! Zady sources fibers and materials right here in the US from small, independent suppliers, and produces each piece with minimal waste. They’ve also launched a yearlong project called The New Standard, an interactive tool that details fashion’s role as the world’s second largest industrial polluter—and what can be done to change that. The company’s commitment to transforming the industry is admirable indeed. Proof that style and substance can go hand in hand!
