Today marks a pretty special anniversary: 10 years ago today, I hit ‘publish’ on my very first blog post. And since today is also my 36th birthday, that means I’ve been blogging for nearly 1/3 of my life. This blog has been with me through 4 different cities, 6 different houses, 2 husbands, the comings and goings of countless friends, and untold number of odd jobs—ultimately becoming my livelihood and the biggest . I guess you could say that aside from my family, it’s been the one constant in my life. It’s opened doors I never even imagined could have existed for me, and most importantly it’s led to relationships and a sense of community that sustains me at a deep soul level. Just as I couldn’t have known where the blog would lead me when I started it 10 years ago, I have no idea where I’ll be 10 years from now (who of us does, really!). But I’m so grateful to myself for having the fortitude to stick with it even when it got tough—and to you guys, my readers, for following along and giving me the grace to find my path in this crazy, great big world! Thank you!
