How do you discover new shops and design resources? Lately, my favorite place to expand my shopping horizon is Instagram. Whenever I allow myself to get lost down the rabbit hole of beautiful photo feeds, I inevitably happen across an independent boutique selling unusual pieces that grab my eye. And that's exactly how I stumbled upon the decor site Maison Godillot.
Based in Paris, Maison Godillot is a just-launched collection of homewares and stationery. The vibe is Japanese wabi sabi meets quirky French sophistication, a juxtaposition explained by the combined heritage of the shop's founders. And just like many of our favorite American design boutiques, Maison Godillot is committed to supporting independent artisans—but with a distinctly European sensibility. It's one to watch for sure!
