Well, it’s about that time again. Time to stop whatever we’re doing and admire the talent that is Rebecca Atwood. The textile guru’s fall decor collection of hand-painted and shibori pillows and fabrics was released today, and it’s a stunning testament to what thoughtful design has the power to be: a marriage of form and function with the ability to tell a story, create a mood, and bring art to life in our homes!
This season Rebecca has combined her trademark watercolor washes with a new assortment of bold, graphic patterns in versatile neutrals. An offset striped pillow makes an eye-catching statement, while spunky half circles marches in perfectly imperfect formation. The latter is from a playful potato print that Rebecca made in her sketchbook, a technique that speaks to the overall mood of the collection: earthy and effortless, quietly quirky—and guaranteed to make you smile!
