I am very proud to announce that in the past year, I stopped purchasing my panties in bulk at Costco. Yes indeed, I've been transitioning into the world of sophisticated underthings, and it feels darn good. The biggest step: I now own more than one brassiere (insert round of applause!) And with Valentine's day creeping up on us, my eyes are turning towards ever silkier and more sumptuous négligée.

What I was told by gals in the know, and I've discovered it to be true, is that high quality, well-fitting underpinnings are one of the best investments you can make for yourself. Even if nobody knows you're wearing them–in fact especially if nobody knows you're wearing them–you're doing something just for you, and that is so empowering. Plus who doesn't love the brush of pink silk against their skin, really?
