I am decidedly not the kind of girl who wears tees with stuff on them (aside from a brief dalliance with the Paul Frank monkey during my freshman year in college, cough…) Yet every once in a while, I happen across a line that straddles that delicate balance between ethos and aethetics, and I'm willing to emblazon a word or image across my chest. I recently found my happy place in LA-based MNKR.
First, these tops fit like a dream. They're ultra-soft and on the baggy side–so there's no sacrificing slouch or style to get your point across. Prints range from a simple red heart pocket to profound (or profane!) sayings. I've worn my 'Lover' tee almost non-stop since picking it up at the Renegade Craft Fair (proof!) and I have my eye on the Lost/Found skull. Just don't tell anyone about my monkey tee past, okay?
