I'd like to give some special birthday props to a wonderful friend of mine. Joanna Hawley is the blogger at Jojotastic, a Pinner with 4 million followers (!), and my final word on cat paraphernalia. She's based in Philly, where she keeps herself just a wee bit busy with a full-time gig designing furniture and textiles for Anthropologie. In other words, Joanna is the real deal, you guys.
I first met Jojo last spring at a work event. The friendship grew when she launched Jojotastic in September—she'd contributed to major blogs for years but didn't have her own site 'til then. Now I don't post a photo to Instagram without getting her stamp of approval on my selected filter; on a recent outing we were asked if we're sisters; and there may be a tee shirt line in the works. We push each other to be better bloggers and better human beings. I'm so blessed to know her. Happy Birthday, Jojo!
