I mentioned before Thanksgiving that my family would be hosting twenty guests for our big turkey dinner. The meal turned out beautifully, everyone had a blast, and there were plenty of leftovers for stuffing and cranberry sauce sandwiches! I thought I’d share a couple photos of how my mom and I set our table, because we had such fun planning it out.
Because we were hosting so many people, we kept the decor simple. Dozens of white pillar candles lined the center of the table, which was actually two long, thin tables placed end-on-end and covered in raw, neutral linen. On top of white ceramic plates we placed alternating grey and ecru napkins, which we’d tied in striped grosgrain ribbon. The effect was clean, warm, and subdued, so everyone could focus on what really mattered: deciding which of the four pies to try!
