Fall Decor Patterns from Cotton & Flax

Fall decor inspiration

Do you know about Cotton & Flax? This new-to-me line of homegoods definitely falls into the category of 'things that happened while I was living under a rock', because in spite of tons of press and a constant presence at some of my favorite boutiques and craft fairs, this charming decor brand has evaded my notice until now. But in case I'm the second to last to find out about it, and you too have just emerged from beneath a slab of granite, I thought it worth sharing here.

Soft fall pattern + color

Cotton & Flax is the brainchild of Pasadena artist and textile designer Erin Dollar. Each piece she makes is printed by hand from an original illustration and each is constructed from super soft yet super durable linen. The subdued colors and unique patterns Erin creates are seasonless, but I especially love them for a subtle fall update to your bedroom or tabletop—especially since many of her throw pillows are on sale right now to make way for new styles!

In addition to producing such lovely work in her Pasadena studio, Erin also does a fantastic job representing the handmade community both online and off. The Cotton & Flax Instagram feed is full of interiors and styling inspiration (as well as indulgent treats and one very charismatic calico kitty), and Erin's blog has some terrific DIY's and freebies. Plus Cotton & Flax is now a finalist in Martha Stewart's American Made Awards. I may have missed the memo on this line before, but you can bet that my eyes are peeled now!
