Raise your hand if you've ever copied an interiors idea you spotted on Instagram. Yup, both my hands are high in the air, because with behind-the-curtain access to the homes of so many design aficionados, how can we not take inspiration from the nooks and crannies, vignettes and moments, of stylish shutterbugs from all over the world? Some of them we all know and love (Wit & Delight, for example), but here are a few under-the-radar faves whose feeds I've been loving lately.
Toronto's Meg Cassidy blogs and Instagrams under the handle Modern Camper (top) and her aesthetic is a perfect mix of modern, thoughtful, and inviting. Expect lots of crisp white and sumptuous textures, and don't be surprised when Meg replies to each and every comment you leave. She's just that nice! Next up, be sure to check out Mr.Jones, aka designer Stephen Jones of Black Anchor Workshop, who travels endlessly and seems to find stunning spaces wherever he goes.
Last but not least, Grey and Scout's Liz Bachman is a professional home stylist, so there's no shortage of gorgeous decor on her lovely Instagram. Her style is contemporary and warm with an eclectic bent, and while you're stocking up on ideas be sure to admire her impressive shoe collection as well.
