Weekend Reading Roundup

Happy Halloween! Are you dressing up this weekend? I've decided to forgo a costume this year, though I did have fun getting my hair done yesterday at an event yesterday for Glamsquad (the new app lets you order in-home hair and makeup services on demand, like Uber but for beauty)! The weather here in LA is positively chilly, so I'm looking forward to staying in, bustling about the kitchen, and catching up on my Netflix queue. And speaking of catching up, here's a few links to add to your reading list!

• 'Tis the season to get baking, and so many recipes caught my eye this week! I'm drooling over flawless chocolate chip cookies, skillet brownies, paleo chocolate chunk banana bread, and the jawdropping pretzel peanut butter caramel crumble loaf.
• I eat eggs almost every morning, and according these tips for making perfect scrambled eggs, I've been cooking them totally wrong. (Though I secretly like them a bit burnt…)
• Every night at 8pm I turn turn my phone not to silent, not to airplane mode, but OFF. It's become an essential part of my R&R routine. Here are four more rules for daily digital detox.
• Lately I've had the itch to shop, and major weekend sales at J. Crew and Gap aren't helping. (Especially crushing on this chunky side slit sweater.)
